Abstract

This paper aims to specify pottery typology of the Hallstatt D1 period via the presentation of 12 assemblages from settlement sites of the Bassée and the area of the Seine-Yonne confluence. This study is part of ongoing research focusing on the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age within this micro-region that has already resulted in the development of a typochronological framework for pottery dating from 9th-5th century BC.
