Renaud NALLIER, Philippe HUARD, Djillali HADJOUIS A POLYLOBED PIT DATING TO THE LATE BRONZE AGE IIB-IIIA AT VILLEJUIF |
Abstract
This note relates the excavation of a polylobed pit dated the middle Late Bronze Age and discovered at Villejuif, Les Hautes Bruyères. A lot of ceramic, metallic, lithic and faunic artifacts have been found. They are characteristic of the Rhin-Suisse-France orientale culture. This excavation is particularly interesting for the knowledge of the middle Late Bronze Age in the Seine-Marne confluence area. A detailed study of the ceramic artifacts permitted to reveal original stylistic specifications.
