Jean-Marc SÉGUIER A 4th CENTURY BC DOMESTIC POTTERY ASSEMBLAGE FROM COMPANS |
Abstract
The excavation of an Early La Tène storage pit at Compans (Plaine de France) and the study of its pottery within a regional framework, dates the assemblage to the first half of the 4th century BC. One of the vessels with its modelled motifs is part of a rare pottery series that is found in the Paris Basin between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC (Picardie, Champagne and Île-de-France).
