Alain BULARD A HOARD CONTAINING NINE PIECES OF ARMOUR DISCOVERED |
Abstract
The discovery of nine "female" armours in Paris at the beginning of the 17th century first provoked much interest, before being questioned and subsequently forgotten during the last century. Current analysis techniques have confirmed these objects as a prestigious deposit dating from the end of the Bronze Age and similar to those of Marmesse, Fillinges, Véria and Bernières-d'Ailly.
