Claire TRISTAN CERNY POTTERY FROM RUEIL-MALMAISON (HAUTS-DE-SEINE) |
Abstract
The "Coteaux de la Jonchère" site at Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine) has rich pottery deposits, mainly dating to the Middle Neolithic I. The typological study of this material has underlined its affiliation to the Cerny-Videlles group characterised by the impression or comb motifs and separated impression motifs for half of the corpus. This referential collection doubles the known corpus for this period for the whole of the Paris basin, shown by the great variety of the decoration and the quality of the pottery.
