Abstract
The excavation of a Late Iron Age site (La Tène A and C2 / D1a) located on the low terrace of the Oise at "Les Basses Coutures", Champagne-sur-Oise in the Val-d’Oise, included several elongated pits that provided many artefacts dating to the middle phase of the Early Neolithic Blicquy / Villeneuve-Saint-Germain culture. These features are the lateral pits of Early Neolithic Danubian houses and join the ranks of the many Early Neolithic sites at the Oise / Esches confluence.
