Abstract

The Late Iron Age rural settlement discovered during development of the large commercial zone at Cormeilles-en-Parisis (Val-d’Oise) is organised around a square enclosure, of a type, which is uncharacteristic for the area. Nine post-holed buildings are located in the enclosure, of which two main buildings present a complex plan. The abundant and well-preserved finds and the spatial analysis of the settlement indicate a high status site.
