Abstract
Forty pits dating from the Late Hallstatt (Ha D1/D2, 6th century BC) were discovered on the C1 Lot of the Pyramid Residential Park in the new town of Sénart. Most seem to be storage pits and have produced abundant finds. This paper is part of a global presentation and analysis of the Early Iron Ages sites of the Sénart Plateau. The finds are representative of domestic material of this period. The pottery study has defined the typological and morphological characteristics of the vessels as well as their volumes, putting emphasis on the chronocultural elements of the corpus. The archaeozoological analysis has underlined the domestic character of the site with the consumption of caprids, pork and beef and uncommon practices such as the roasting of dog and deer. The lithic study raises the question of the reuse of much older artefacts.
