Abstract
Within the framework a sand extraction site a Milly-La-Forêt, a 11.107 m² plot "Le Bois Rond" was excavated in the spring of 2005. A settlement dating from the end of the Early Iron Age (Hallstatt final) uniquely made up of storage pits was discovered on the fringe of an small roman settlement, largely eroded by an old railway. About thirty storage pits were thus studied, providing a rich and abundant pottery assemblage, in which painted ware is largely represented. Certain atypical finds are characterized by the deposit of human or animal remains, obviously a reference to some form of worship in the domestic sphere.
