Abstract

This paper presents the Palaeolithic sites that have been discovered at Roissy-en-France "La Vallée Verte" during an archaeological evaluation carried out by the departmental archaeology service of Val-d’Oise (Sdavo). The importance of the discoveries resides in the flint and animal bone finds as well as the relative chronology of the different loci, the earliest of which dates to the Middle Palaeolithic. A well-preserved Belloisian flint cluster with possible faunal remains is one of the main discoveries of the intervention.
